Craig Biggio holds the National League career record with 53, third overall to Henderson, and Alfonso Soriano with 54. As of 2022, George Springer holds the career record among active players, with 52 leadoff home runs, which also ranked him fourth all-time.
In 1996, Brady Anderson set a Major League record by hitting a lead-off home run in four consecutive games.
